It has been SO encouraging to see G’s coordination and balance improve over the course of this last year. He has been able to do things that we never thought he would manage! Also great to have Katy on the end of the phone (or email) if we needed her advice about how the exercises were going. She was always available to answer any questions we had. I’m only sorry we didn’t hear about Reflex Reset earlier and couldn’t have worked through this programme with our boy sooner.
Has the therapy been successful in your view? In what way?
Very much so. G has gained an awareness of where he is in space and is better able to process what is going on around him. Six months into the therapy he happily joined in a team game of archery tag (which he continues to enjoy playing) a thing he would never have done before – having avoided any team game and any ball sports. He is also more confident interacting with people in general.
It has also helped his stamina in writing, which makes it easier for him to get down on paper the wealth of information that was always in his head in the more essay based subjects, but which previously wouldn’t have made it onto the paper – which has helped with his school work as well.
Did you feel your child had a good relationship with Katy?
It would be difficult for anyone to not have a good relationship with Katy.
